Sofie is 18 years old, born 21'st of december 1989, and her intrest in dogs started in 1998 when she got her first dog, Sagodalens Esmeralda. "Esme" is a very stubborn and not very easy to work with, but you can't have any better first dog. Esme has thought Sofie to have patience and to not rush over things.
She started to compete Junior Handling with Esme in 1999, and the circus has been on tour since then ; )

Sofie started early to show different dogs and has shown lots of different breeds. And in '05 she got the oppertunity to visit the beautiful country Iceland to compete and show dogs.
Sofie showed a sheltie in the Juniorhandling and gained a 2'nd place ! Only beaten by the girl who was going to represent Iceland att the International Final at Crufts ! Same weekend she showed different dogs to titles, CCs, BOB & BOS and Group placements. To read more about Iceland, click here >>.

In summer '07 Sofie got another great opportunity ! She worked the whole summer at Lundecock's Kennel in south of Sweden. It was hard work, but she enjoyed every minute of it ! She learned a lot about grooming, showing, breeding and just healthcaring. A heartful thank you goes to Johnny Andersson, who took a such good care of her.

Now Sofie is "retired" from Juniorhandling, but is practically living at dogshows every week !
One of her big moments this far is for exemple the Group winning at Högbo Bruk '07, with Smooth Collie MultiCh MultiW Sandcastle's Storm In A Teacup (picture) under judge Natalia Nekrosiente.
